ANGLE-MAN
The fundamentals of plane geometry
(12-14 years)
  • In the course of the program, the student will learn by performing a series of simulations of geometrical measurements and constructions
  • Every topic in the program consists of a series of leading questions, each of which presents a number of statements (theorems) which may be checked by the student. At the end of the activity, the student may perform an Interactive experiment and a Laboratory Self-Test.

LIVE FRACTIONS
Simple Fractions
(11-13 years)

In the course of the program, the student will learn by performing a series of simulations the basic operations with simple fractions. Every topic in the program consists of a series of leading questions, each of which presents a property, rule or method of operations which may be checked by the student. At the end of the activity, the student will perform an Interactive open experiment and a Test.

The unique graphics simulations cover all the range of relevant subjects, like: fraction definition, common denominator, adding and subtraction of simple fractions, multiplying the fraction by integer and by fraction, dividing of an integer and of a fraction by fraction, mixed and decimal fractions.

FRACTIONS X-PRESS
Simple fractions
(9-12 years, 100 hours of activity)

The program combines the interactive simulations of Live Fractions with the method of X-PRESS.

The subjects:

  • Fraction Basics: definitions of proper and improper fractions, mixed numerals, equivalence of fractions, decimal fractions, factoring and canceling of fractions
  • Operations on proper fractions: common denominator, comparison of proper fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions in equations
  • Mixed and decimal fractions: basic operations
